Hey hey! I wouldn't be surprised if I have no one following my blog anymore, because there hasn't really been anything to follow the past 2 months! I have been the worst blogger ever and so I was reminded by a friend or two to post some pictures. Here are three. :) The summer consisted of camp-and it was SO great. Then I came right back to school. Bought my supplies Sunday night and went to class Monday morning. Alright! It's been good though. Two good things about school time are posted in these pictures. The first is a picture of me with my cousin Kajsa. I babysit Kjasa and Greta every Tuesday and Thursday while their mom, Liz, teaches piano lessons. Greta was taking a nap when we took this picture, but I'll work on getting a picture with her tomorrow. 
Secondly I get to see Tom again. :) This first picture was a night I think we just went out for ice cream. The second was a date to see the Fargo Red Hawks. Unfortunately my camera battery died right after this picture, so I didn't get a chance to redo this blurry picture. No worries, though, I have already put new batteries in, so we're ready to roll. 
School is going well and definitely rolling with assignments and everything. There are days that it is hard to be in school, but it gets easier when I am reminded why I am here and as the summer becomes more and more removed. God has been just so faithful in providing me with some great new girl friends and just the greatest girls' small group. I love it so much and it's so exciting to get to learn and grow in the Word with fellow Christian college girls. I was a little scared to go at first, not knowing anyone there and all, but it has been so good and I'm glad God is giving me the opportunity to be stretched in this area. To bring you all up to speed-I'm at camp now. :) It's going so well and I am thoroughly enjoying "working" here, getting to hang out with a really fun staff, and see and experience God move in both the campers that come here and our staff. It is good. A couple of weekends ago we had a wedding for two former staffers, Ben and Kady. It was a perfect, beautiful, relaxing, wonderful day. It was fun to see family and friends that were able to come up for the wedding, as well.

Well, I think I have been taught a lesson. Don't say something unless you're going to do it. Good lesson, huh? I think so. So, I apologize for saying I was going to blog every day-definitely did not happen. I'm playing catch up right now from what has taken place in the past couple of months. First is a picture of Rebekah, me, and Leah at "Fargo Star". It's kind of like American Idol, except the WAY smaller Fargo version. Our friend Emily was one of the top 10 finalists. (Sorry, I didn't get a picture with her!) We had fun making these glow in the dark t-shirts in Emily's honor. :)
Just this past weeknd (May 9th) was the Fargo Marathon! I think I told you about it in a previous post. I only ran the half, but it was so fun. This one was even more fun, I think, than Grandma's Marathon last year, because so many friends came to watch and cheer us on. I had a goal of running it in an hour and 45 minutes, but missed it by five minutes. Next year! My friends Leah and and Jess were cheering us on and that's when Leah got this crazy shot.

Oh, why do I live in Fargo? Because I get to hang out with these great friends of mine! (That's one reason anyway.) :)
Friends, sorry for the lack of postings. I will continue to be out for a little while as the end of the school year is near!! The actual week of finals won't be too bad, it's just these couple weeks before hand where we are completing projects, etc. I'll try document something and post as soon as possible. I hope you are all doing well and enjoying the spring weather that is slowly coming around-I know I am. Which reminds me, the Fargo marathon is just 2 weeks away! It's getting pretty exciting. Anyway, I am in the midst of writing a paper, so I bid you farewell and will most likely be rejoicing and more relaxed the next time I post. Peace and blessings.
I was able to make a quick trip home for Easter. Friday night and Saturday dad, mom, Erica, and I just hung out and enjoyed the beautiful spring day. Later in the evening mom and I took a nice walk, which is what the above picture is from. 
Sunday, after church in Roseau, we headed to Grand Forks to meet my aunt Gwen, uncle DeWayne, cousin Crystal, Grandpa, and uncle Dan. Since our traditional meeting place, Royal Fork, is now closed, we met at the Golden Corral. (Another buffet.) It was a good time to catch up and just enjoy each other's company. Erica sleeping in the car while I was driving....I was laughing so hard because she had wrapped her jacket around her head-I think to sort of act as a pillow and drown out the music/crazy car noises my car makes. :) It was entertaining anyway.
