This is a song that has really made me think about Easter and why we celebrate, so I found it appropriate to share with you at this time. The song is entitled "True Love" by Phil Wickham. Here are the lyrics:
Come close listen to the story
About a love more faithful than the morning
The Father gave His only Son just to save us
The earth was shaking in the dark
All creation felt the Fathers Broken Heart
Tears were filling Heaven's Eyes
The day that True Love died, the day that True Love died
When blood and water hit the ground
Walls we couldn't move came crashing down
We were free and made alive
The day that True Love died, The day that True Love died
Search your heart you know you can't deny it
Come on, lose your life just so you can find it
The Father gave His only Son just to save us
The Earth was shaking in the dark
All creation felt The Fathers broken heart
Tears were filling Heaven's Eyes
The day that True Love died, the day that True Love died
When blood and water hit the ground
Walls we couldn't move came crashing down
We were free and made alive
The day that True Love died, The day that True Love died
Now, Jesus is alive
Jesus is alive
Jesus is alive
Jesus is alive
Jesus is alive
Oh, He is alive
He rose again
*Please Note!* This particular video of the song has scenes from "The Passion" and is quite graphic.

I love this song's focus on Easter, and I agree with you, Greta, the video helps me think about what Christ did for us (a little more focused on Good Friday). And just think... the power that raised Christ from the dead is in us! Wow! Love ya!
Great song!! The words are awesome but when coupled with clips from The Passion they are AMAZING! To actually get a glimpse (even if from a movie) of what HE did for us is soooo powerful! Thanks for sharing!
