Roommates

I have been blessed, throughout my college career, with great roommates. This year I live with Lisa (just below me in the door picture), Ashley (below Lisa), and Jill (the bottom). We have quite a bit of fun together and hang out a lot. All three girls are music education majors at NDSU, so I'm the odd ball as an early childhood education major at MSUM. They still let me live with them. :)

Red River Run

On Halloween morn Leah and I ran the Red River Run 15k (9.3 miles). We were very nerdy and dressed up as Robin and Minnie Mouse. :) We had a great time, though, and were thankful for nice friends and fans for coming out and supporting us....those two people include Tom and my roommate Lisa. :)
It was a perfect day and a very beautiful run through Lindenwood Park.

Bison Pride?

One might think that I am a supporter of Bison football. This is not true, however. I have been to two of their home games over the course of two years. I'm a Moorhead State Dragon but I can't say I've ever been to a Dragon sporting event. Maybe I'm just not into sports that much. Yes, this is true.

Anyway, Leah had a FREE ticket for me to go with her and her dad to a Bison game (and they LOVE the Bison!) so I went. It was more of a chance to hang out with one of my best friends, and it was good.

The Sweetest Little Chicitas

I have just the greatest time with Kajsa and Greta! This past week we've enjoyed multiple walks with the nice warm weather, some time in the sprinkler, playing hospital, store/restaurant in the playhouse, coloring, and play-doh! We are never bored.

Stretching Summer

Last Saturday Tom and I made a trip to Buffalo State Park. It's only twenty minutes away, so we thought it'd be good to take advantage of a park in the area. It was an absolutely beautiful day and quite warm. We appreciated getting out of the busy city and just being able to see more green. This is a summary of what we saw.

Hey hey! I wouldn't be surprised if I have no one following my blog anymore, because there hasn't really been anything to follow the past 2 months! I have been the worst blogger ever and so I was reminded by a friend or two to post some pictures. Here are three. :) The summer consisted of camp-and it was SO great. Then I came right back to school. Bought my supplies Sunday night and went to class Monday morning. Alright! It's been good though. Two good things about school time are posted in these pictures. The first is a picture of me with my cousin Kajsa. I babysit Kjasa and Greta every Tuesday and Thursday while their mom, Liz, teaches piano lessons. Greta was taking a nap when we took this picture, but I'll work on getting a picture with her tomorrow.
Secondly I get to see Tom again. :) This first picture was a night I think we just went out for ice cream. The second was a date to see the Fargo Red Hawks. Unfortunately my camera battery died right after this picture, so I didn't get a chance to redo this blurry picture. No worries, though, I have already put new batteries in, so we're ready to roll.
School is going well and definitely rolling with assignments and everything. There are days that it is hard to be in school, but it gets easier when I am reminded why I am here and as the summer becomes more and more removed. God has been just so faithful in providing me with some great new girl friends and just the greatest girls' small group. I love it so much and it's so exciting to get to learn and grow in the Word with fellow Christian college girls. I was a little scared to go at first, not knowing anyone there and all, but it has been so good and I'm glad God is giving me the opportunity to be stretched in this area.

A Beautiful Day

To bring you all up to speed-I'm at camp now. :) It's going so well and I am thoroughly enjoying "working" here, getting to hang out with a really fun staff, and see and experience God move in both the campers that come here and our staff. It is good. A couple of weekends ago we had a wedding for two former staffers, Ben and Kady. It was a perfect, beautiful, relaxing, wonderful day. It was fun to see family and friends that were able to come up for the wedding, as well.
